Antoinette Beaded Lace High Neck Bra - Made To Order

The 'Antoinette' bra is the true pièce de résistance of the Bijoux collection, akin more to decadent jewellery than purely underwear. This is truly a garment that is made to seen.

This design has been crafted from the most lavish textile that Karolina Laskowska has ever worked with: a Chantilly lace from the heritage French lace house of Sophie Hallette, painstakingly hand embellished with intricate beadwork and ribbonwork embroidery. It is a true textural feast, and a testament to the value of skilled craftsmanship. The lace pattern has been used by Haute Couture houses since at least the 1950s, with a timeless floral design in shades of dusty rose, stone and old gold. 

This design is a limited edition, with enough lace available for approximately 6-10 bras in total. Once this lace is used up, the design cannot be repeated. Each bra requires many days of skilled and focused hand labour to complete. 

This bra is crafted with a beaded lace outer and fine nylon tulle supporting lining. It is trimmed with hand dyed elastics in shades of reddish-pink and hand-finished silk binding. The bra wings and shoulder straps are adjustable, with gold plated hardware. 

Coordinates

A number of coordinates have been sampled for this bra, but we would be delighted to accommodate clients with custom requests for alternative silhouettes. Please contact us directly to discuss the option. 

Customisation

This bra will be made with your choice of skin tone tulle lining, to help support the weight of the outer lace. The bra's band size can be easily customised with a personalised fit: please leave a note with your order specifying your underbust measurement. If you do not provide a measurement, the bra will be created with our standardised 30-36 band size. Please note that we cannot offer other bra styles in this lace; it is only available in this high-neck, monowire silhouette. 

Fit & Sizes

This style is sized by cup size, with a highly adjustable band. If you are between cup sizes, we recommend sizing up as it is a fairly shallow cut, and the monowire has a slightly narrower profile than our other underwires. The signature adjustable band allows this bra to be adjusted to band sizes 30-36 in most sizes. Sizes KL 14-18 are be made with a wider satin strapping and larger fastening for greater comfort and support.

About The Manufacturing

This design will be handmade to order by Karolina in her London studio, according to your specifications. It will take approximately 12 weeks to complete your bra. A rush service is not possible for this design, due to the high number of labour hours required to create it.
