SAMPLE Foxglove Satin Overbust Corset With French Lace Appliqué & Lace Skirt - 20" Waist

Please read the condition description carefully, as this is a flawed sample piece and is not sewn to a retail or bespoke standard. 

 An overbust corset in a single layer of silk/cotton satin, intricately embellished with symmetrically placed and hand stitched layers of French leavers lace. The base lace has a base tulle of aubergine with lilac highlights, with a scalloped edge at the neckline and a flounced skirt at the bottom hem. This is then overlaid with metallic silver lace. 

The centre front and back of the corset are re-enforced with cotton coutil. Bone channels are made of cotton twill tape, with a mixture of flat steel and synthetic baleen bones structuring the garments. Two part silver eyelets and cotton lacing form the centre back fastening.

Flaws: 

This corset is a sample and the stitching is not up to the usual retail standard and it has no garment labels.. This style is not suitable for tightlacing or waist training and is recommended as an occasionwear or boudoir piece. Originally the design also featured draped pearl jewellery, but this has been removed and there are now some silver o-rings remaining stitched into the lace. These could be removed upon request. 

Sizing:

The closed waist on this garment is 20", recommended for approximately a UK 8-10. Corsets should be worn 4-5" smaller than your natural waist size. The closed measurements of the corset are approximately 34" bust, 20" waist and 34" hip.
