This sample corset is a highly experimental piece, patterned as a spiral and sewn in one stitch operation, later cut open at the back to insert the lacing panels. It is made from two layers of cotton bobbinet tulle in beige and black, with black cotton twill bone channels and waisttape, and contrast decorative overlock stitching details. The corset is cut with a midbust neckline and longline hip. It is boned with a mix of flat and spiral steel, with the centre back re-enforced with cotton coutil panels.
Due to the experimental nature of this design, the fit is slightly flawed, with slight assymetry in the bust and hip edges as shown in photos. It is not sewn to a retail standard. These flaws are reflected in the price.
An article explaining the development process of this corset is available to members of the Karolina Laskowska Patreon here.
Closes with approximately a 30" midbust, 20" waist and 36" full hip. This piece is not recommended for tightlacing or waist training.
