'Nightshade' Cupped Corset Dress

A cupped corset dress, created in multipanelled cotton bobbinet tulle and padded foam cups. The keyhold cut out allows for the use of an antique Edwardian busk fastening, with an unusual reversed loop, leading to gold toned eyelets and satin ribbon lacing. The dress is embellished with assymetric, hand sewn, corded lace appliqué, and trimmed with a contrast green satin binding.

The dress is worn over a corded French lace skirt, patterned into pointed shaped scallops, with plastic boning to maintain shape and contrast flossing embroidery.
