The entire Niwa collection has been created from genuine vintage Japanese kimonos, with the exquisite hand crafted textiles upcycled into a limited edition of lingerie. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of the silk textile, each knicker is utterly unique and cannot be repeated.
The kimono used for this knicker has motifs of poppies and galaxies, with metallic and glitter details. This exact knicker is shown in the first two photos, with other images demonstrating the fit of the garment.
This full brief cut has a front panel of kimono silk and a back of soft, stretch black mesh. The front panel is bound in black satin, with vintage glass pearl buttons fastening with black silk loops. The gusset is lined in cotton jersey.
Please note that due to the use of vintage textiles, there may be small marks or inconsistencies; these are note considered faults.
This style has a particularly generous fit, and we recommend sizing down if possible. The soft mesh is particularly stretchy. Unstretched waist sizes are approximately equivalent to: 8/10 = 26", 10/12 = 28", 12/14 = 30", 14/16 = 32".
