A jacket-style haori sourced directly from Japan, c. 1960s. The floral print is truly stunning and photos don’t do its vibrancy justice! A base ivory silk is ikat dyed in floral motifs of red, grey and yellow. The outer silk has quite a crisp hand to it, and is lined with a habotai style silk in a rich pink with printed cartwheel motifs. The sleeves of this garment have a rounded bottom edge rather than the more typical square cut. Much of this garment is hand stitched with an impeccable attention to detail and craft.
