SAMPLE Oil slick metal leaf, silk & bobbinet tulle quarter cup corset – 18.5” closed waist, 32C/30D bust, size UK 8-10
A one-off Art corset sample. The exterior is profusely embellished with hand applied metal leaf, in shades of 24ct gold, pure silver, dyed silver and copper. A strand of mixed hematite and pyrite beads is draped across the bust. The centre panels and cups have an exterior of dusky purple silk duchesse. The centre body panels are lined in strong herringbone coutil and the cups with PU foam. Side panels are constructed from a double layer of flexible yet strong cotton bobbinet tulle. Binding at the underarm and bottom hems is finished by hand for an invisible exterior finish. The corset fastens with lacing through two part eyelets at the centre back. The corset is boned throughout with 5mm spiral steel bones, with 7mm flat steel bones at the centre front and back. The centre front bones have been gently curved over the abdomen.
Please note that the corset is shown modelled over a bra/knicker set. This listing is purely for the corset.
This corset has been worn briefly for one photoshoot. The price reflects this use and the fact that it is a sample. A similar garment made at a bespoke level would be priced beginning at around £2000.
The underwired cups are best suited for bra sizes UK 30D/32C, but due to the quarter cup cut may work for a cup size up or down. The approximate measurements are closed waist is 18.5", with the full hip a generous 36" for an extra curvy silhouette. The underbust starts approximately 4.5" above the waist. This corset is recommended for someone with tightlacing experience.
This corset is recommended for surface cleaning only. In the event of staining, professional dry cleaning would be recommended but this may cause some damage to/loss of exterior embellishment.
This corset is a one of a kind sample. It may have manufacturing flaws or some wear to it if it was used in a photoshoot. Please read the description carefully before purchase. Take extra care when trying this garment on. Forcing a too-small corset on the body may damage it. Karolina Laskowska cannot accept returns on damaged items due to customer negligence. It is advised that you fully unlace this corset before trying it on, as pulling the corset on over the head risks marking the fabric with makeup or hair products.
